DAVE DEVERAUX
Director

Dave Devereaux has 30-plus years of experience in the insurance and healthcare industries as a senior executive for CIGNA and United Healthcare; and as an independent consultant. His primary expertise is in the areas of strategic planning, organizational development, business integration, finance, sales, marketing, and product development. At Bonnell Associates, Ltd. Dave is a senior consultant and advisor for insurance and healthcare services. He is also a senior advisor at our sister company, The Princeton Partnership, LLC which specializes in turnaround and runoff management for the insurance industry.

The majority of Dave's background is with CIGNA where he spent 30 years, 20 of those in senior executive positions including CFO, Sales, Underwriting, Marketing, Specialty Companies and culminating as senior executive for Western Operations from 1990 to 1994. In 1994, he worked as an independent consultant with Samaritan Health System and Tucson Medical Center organizing and integrating three health plans into HealthPartners of AZ. He was then senior executive-West for United Healthcare (and MetraHealth prior to acquisition by United in 1996).

Dave returned to CIGNA in 2002 as an independent consultant, revising their strategy, organization, products, and network and medical management. He then headed up their Western operations with responsibility for sales, marketing, and network management. Later, he worked as an independent consultant with BENU, a healthcare services company to Kaiser, CIGNA, and Healthnet, and is currently on their Board.

Dave received his B.A. from Hamilton College. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, and currently resides in California.
